Severity:

Medium

Context:

The logout functionality in the menu fails if the user clicks the logout button before the menu finishes loading.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to the application.
  2. Open the user menu.
  3. Immediately click the logout button before the menu finishes loading.

Expected Result:

The user logs out successfully every time.

Actual Result:

  • Clicking too quickly causes the logout to fail.
  • User remains logged in.

Root Cause:

The menu isn’t fully loaded before interaction.
No wait or synchronization mechanism is in place.

Impact:

  • Frustrated users unable to logout reliably.
  • Potential session or security issues if users assume they logged out.

Suggested Fix:

Add wait_for_selector() or equivalent to ensure the menu is fully loaded before interacting.
